Let's get right sis!! We are months away from a New Year!
Marketing strategies are ever-changing as new systems and platforms come on the scene, and for new and old business owners/content creators this can be overwhelming. Where do you spend the most time? How can you gain traction in a saturated market?..... These are the constant questions that we ask ourselves. So I am here to share with you a few strategies that I use to grow my business.
Before we get into the deets here are a few things that you should already know and have in mind.
What is your business?
You need to know who your audience is ( who, what, why, and how)
What's going on in your market? ( Market analysis, i.e what's impacting your business right now)
Now that we got that out the way, let's talk MARKETING ....
Now I'm not saying that you need to be on every social media platform there is ( because that would just be insane, I can barely keep up as it is) however you need to have a social presence. You have to know where your audience is and where they are spending most of their time. Is your audience spending time on Facebook or are they on Tik Tok?
2. What are you Offering
What are you offering people when they come to your site? Think about why you click on someone's page or website. You're going for a reason whether that be aesthetic, inspiration, knowledge, connection, whatever it is, it keeps you coming back. So you have to find what your secret sauce is that keeps your audience coming back for more.
3. Call to Action
A Call to Action is an instruction to your audience that is designed to provoke a response. For example " Sign up now" " Shop Here" " Let me know below". All of these CTA's are telling your audience what you want them to do. It creates a dynamic where your audience feels a part of the story you're trying to tell. By adding a call to action to your website or social media captions you're gaining buy-in from your audience.
4. Email Marketing
An oldie but goodie. You can't run away from good ol' email marketing but here is the thing it's 2021 so change it up a little. Why should they even give you their email. That's just another brand sending them junk so what makes you different. You want it to be worth it! You have to give before you receive. So offer something in exchange for their email. Maybe that's a freebie or a discount code. Don't just expect them to leave their email without giving anything in return because they won't.
With all of the options out there you may not always feel like you are the leader in your niche, you may feel like a small fish in a big pond. But, remember YOU are what separates your business from the others. The more authentic you are is the more trust that you will build with your audience. Because of the saturation, people are looking for connection more than anything. Does your business/brand connect. Does it impact? What is it saying to the world.
Hope these tips help! Let's shape up & make magic!
